Join our 3-session workshop to discover the answers to these questions, and more! Make a date with us and gain an understanding of the importance of Literature, as well as learn to analyse extracts of literary works from different genres and be guided to respond from different perspectives.

Comprehend with Ease
(Lower Secondary)
​In the 3-day workshop, students will be taught the different techniques that will aid them in comprehending different kinds of text, from narrative to informational to visuals.
Particular attention will be paid to sections that many students find challenging such as the questions that include `the use of language for effect’.​
​​Participants will also get a complimentary copy of a condensed version of a workbook on `Comprehend with Ease - Lower Secondary'.

Be a Creative Writer - Narratives & Poems
(Upper Primary & Lower Secondary)
It is true that there is nothing new under the sun; every story has been told before.
However, an expert story-teller is still able to attract readers because he or she is able to express the themes in settings and social situations that are unique.
​
Over two days, participants will learn to weave magic through imaginative telling of stories that capture the attention of readers. The final two days will be spent in creating fun poems such as haikus, headline and letter poems.
​​Participants will also get a complimentary copy of Dr Pereira's collection of short stories `Haszie's Christmas Gift and Other Short Stories'.
