The first session of the workshop will be on Planned Response and the process to follow in order to do it well.

In the second session, you will be guided to take initiative in introducing ideas for the Spoken Interaction as well as to be spontaneous when expressing yourself.

Participants will receive a complimentary copy of a condensed version of a self-study booklet on Planned Response and Social Interaction.

Thinking Critically to Write Factual Essays

Critical Thinking is essential when it comes to composing essays whether they are expository, persuasive or argumentative.

The first two sessions of the workshop will be devoted to equipping students with the critical thinking skills that are critical when writing factual essays.  Thus, the student will be exposed to logic and logical fallacies, before applying logic to examine and assess different issues from current affairs.

During the next three sessions, students will have the opportunity to apply what they have learnt through researching and writing on a topic that is of interest to them.
